My father opened his own real estate company in 1963 around the time I was finishing school, so it was an ideal opportunity for me to become involved in his business.

 I managed the office for just over eight years before obtaining my own Real Estate Manager's Licence and starting my own company.

 Whilst my two sons Ben and David were very young, I stayed home and only sold property for family and friends. However, I joined Brock Harcourts (then Brock Younger) in 1987 and have enjoyed an exciting career mainly in the large Adelaide office but more recently joined the great team at the Magill Franchise where I enjoy the best of both worlds. I value the team work of our small office, with nine residential sales consultants, property manager and three invaluable support staff, and yet have the excellent profile and strength of the Brock Harcourt umbrella.

 I have obviously seen great changes in the market over the past forty years or so, however I personally believe that the fundamentals are still the same.
